Cambodian Student Association
Mission Statement
The Cambodian Student Association of California State University, Fullerton strives to support and promote awareness and to address a variety of subjects relating to the Cambodian-American community. Our purpose is to share cultural appreciation with all interested students, alumni, faculty, and staff at CSUF and surrounding communities.
History
The Cambodian Student Association of California State University, Fullerton was founded in 1988 by Generation 1.5, a group of Cambodians born in Cambodia and raised in the United States. Generation 1.5 started the organization as a social networking club in pursuit of looking to identify with other Cambodian Americans. The club temporarily lost its momentum until 2006 when it was resurrected. Since then, CSA continues to thrive.
